SLAC Current Status

There is currently no emergency situation at SLAC.



[Dec 11]: SLAC is currently participating in a nationwide DOE accountability drill requiring all national labs to test their emergency notification systems. If you received an email from “SLAC Emergency Alert”, please respond as soon as possible by choosing the appropriate response and clicking the link provided in the email.

Note that the email alert will be coming from the Everbridge alert system, containing a Stanford University email banner hosted by Amazon Web Services (amazonaws.com), and the links provided will have URLs that start with "neconfirm.everbridge.net".

An internal memo from ES&H Director Carole Fried dated Aug. 7, 2018 provides more information about these regularly occurring accountability drills (requires SLAC employee login).
